Scandi, Hygge, St. Pauli and Mökki - they're like our children. Each of us has a different favorite (we'll never tell).
Why stay at a hotel when you can experience all the comfort and convenience of a home in a charming neighborhood? We're St. Paul natives who love to travel and discover the heart and soul of our travel destinations. Sara fell in love with Paris in part because of the incredible Airbnb she stayed in. We wanted to bring these cottages back to life so that our guests could experience all the best things that St. Paul has to offer while also having an inviting and relaxing space to retreat to. - Sara, Coral, Patrick & Claudia
WHO WE ARE
We're a small, friend-owned and operated vacation rental business specializing in carefully curated cottages that are inspired by Scandinavia.
We truly value each other's roles, which is the key to our success. Claudia is the mastermind of our cleaning strategy. Coral provides service that is second to none. Sara is always thinking about how to make each guest's stay perfect. Patrick makes sure everything runs smoothly.
Our cottages have plenty of coffee selections so you can tackle the day with energy!
Super Fast WiFi and Central Air
High speed WiFi is so important - we've got you covered! We have central air at all of our cottages.
Enjoy our private backyards - a patio at the Scandinavian cottage and fire pit at Hygge Haus. All cottages have gas grills.
Bedside Charging Stations
Every bed has a nightstand with a charging station for your mobile devices.
All cottages have a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board and drying rack.
Every cottage is equipped with Smart TVs. Perfect for bingeing Netflix, Disney + or whatever you choose.
THINGS TO DO
We have the best vintage shops in St. Paul right around the corner from Hygge Haus.
The restaurant scene in St. Paul is hot! We love Blue Door, Meritage, Brasa, Hyacinth, Revival and Punch Pizza.
Summit Ave. Stroll
Summit Ave. has the longest stretch of Victorian architecture in the U.S.
Our favorite local breweries are Bad Weather, Lake Monster and of course, Surly.
St. Paul Farmers Market
Enjoy the diverse mix of locally grown produce and other specialty foods.
Take in a show at the newly renovated Palace Theater or go to the no frills but awesome Turf Club.
I cannot express enough what a great house this was. Each room is so nicely decorated and so comfortable. They've thought of every detail: comfy pillows, Keurig coffee and tea, and amazing beds. I can go on and on about how wonderful our experience was.
